The Walking Dead season 8 release date revealed
AMC and FOX have confirmed when The Walking Dead will be returning for its eighth season.
A brand new poster has revealed that season eight of the popular series will drop on October 22 in America and October 23 in the UK, with a 100th episode special.
The poster shows leader of the Alexandrians, Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), staring into the face of the villainous Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), as the other characters stand in the background preparing for war.

Showrunner Scott M. Gimple recently told Entertainment Weekly that there will many characters interacting with each other that we’ve never seen before in the new season.
“The season finale last year, seeing all the characters together interacting as one, was thrilling,” he said
“It was exciting to see all these configurations of characters we hadn’t seen before. Even Aaron merely giving Jerry an apple felt satisfying.”
He also revealed season eight will continue to move at a fast pace now that all-out battle has begun, and there will not be any more single-arc episodes.
He said: “Things are going to move, and possibly not have the kind of deep dives into characters in single episodes, but rather laying out the pieces as we go on.”
The Walking Dead will return October 23 on FOX in the UK.
