The Walking Dead season 7: Episode titles and plot spoilers released
New episode titles and synopses have been released for the second half of The Walking Dead season seven.
AMC have unveiled the episode titles and plot details for the first five episodes ahead of the series’ return on Monday.
As well as a lot of “mysterious” exploring, it looks as though the second half of season seven will finally see the separate communities merge together in a bid to defeat Negan and the Saviors.
Episode 7.9 – Rock In The Road
“Rick is introduced to a new community.”
Episode 7.10 – New Best Friends
“While searching for a missing Alexandrian, Rick and his group encounter a mysterious collective, its inhabitants unlike any they have come across.”
Episode 7.11 – Hostiles And Calamities
“An Alexandrian discovers they must navigate the mysterious, confusing and terrifying world within the Saviors’ compound.”
Episode 7.12 – Say Yes
“The group scavenges for supplies; back in Alexandria, someone must make a morally challenging decision.”
Episode 7.13 – Bury Me Here
“Things do not go as planned when a group of Kingdommers delivers goods to the Saviors during a routine supply drop-off.”
These teasers follow the brand new mid-season trailer that landed last week.
However, the new trailer emphasises that true peace cannot be achieved until Negan and his army of Saviors are destroyed.
In the preview, showrunner Scott M. Gimple explains: “The first half of season seven was very much about these characters and the audience finding their way forward from an incredible trauma.”
Meanwhile, Danai Gurira, who plays Michonne, says the season reveals “who you are in the wake of [trauma] and how you piece yourself back together”.
Finally Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan, promises that the series is “only going to get more crazy” as we approach “a breaking point” for Rick and Negan.
The Walking Dead returns on Sunday February 12 on AMC in the US, and Monday February 13 on Fox in the UK.
