Holly Willoughby discusses her upcoming Coronation Street cameo
Holly Willoughby has confessed she feels “so nervous” about filming her Coronation Street cameo.
The This Morning presenter is set to make an appearance on the ITV soap alongside her co-host Phillip Schofield.
Speaking about their cameo on today’s This Morning, Holly confessed she is worried about the amount of lines she has to learn.
She said: “I’m so nervous, can I just say.”
Phillip added: “Literally in the last commercial break our script has been delivered … look at all your lines, there are masses.”
Holly replied: “Don’t! I’m not very good at this sort of thing.”
Also appearing on the ITV daytime show was Emmerdale scriptwriter Sharon Marshall, who revealed viewers can look forward to some comedy moments from Holly and Phillip.
“It’s very funny. I just had a flick through. It’s going to be good,” she said.
“Don’t mess it up.”
Holly replied: “You’re not helping, Sharon!”
Corrie boss Kate Oates previously confirmed that the presenting duo will play themselves on the show.
She said: “Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are coming in for a bit of fun and part of Helen Flanagan’s exit story.
“We’re kind of replaying a bit of a trick we have used before because Rosie has already been on shows but it will be great comedy. Phil and Holly will play themselves.”
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10:30am on ITV.
