Ferne McCann is back to work after a difficult last month, making her first red carpet appearance since her ex-boyfriend was charged in connection to the London acid attack.
Last night (Thursday), the former TOWIE star appeared on the red carpet alongside best pal Vicky Pattison for the Pride Of North East Awards in Newcastle.
The Celebs Go Dating star also shared a selfie with her followers, captioning the picture: “Lovely evening with this one @vickypattison at the Pride of the North East awards. All these people are so inspiring, truly humbling 💜”.

Ferne recently gave an emotional interview on ITV’s This Morning in which she discussed her pregnancy with Arthur Collins’ baby.
She said: “It has been such a stressful, surreal situation to be in that. I’m actually feeling good and positive because I’m pregnant that has given me strength and hope to get through this.”
When host Holly Willoughby asked her how it felt to hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time at her scan, Ferne replied: “It was a massive relief. Leading up to that point, you’re thinking I hope everything is OK with the baby. It’s just a magical moment – it’s mental, being pregnant.”
Tearing up, the star continued: “This isn’t how I imagined my first pregnancy to be, but it’s not about me, it’s about this baby.
“My main concern and priority is the baby.”
