Montana Brown’s mum suggests Love Island is fake
Mother of Love Island‘s Montana Brown has claimed the ITV2 show is “choreographed”.
The Islander was pretty smug after sealing the deal with her boyfriend Alex Beattie last week, but it sounds as though her mum wasn’t quite as pleased…
Speaking to The Mirror, Montana’s mum Sarah Brown said it was out of character for her daughter to sleep with someone so soon and that producers might have directed her to act a certain way.
She said: “A mum doesn’t really want to be involved in that side of her daughter’s life so I would rather not have seen that.
“It has been an interesting version of Montana, which isn’t really her. When she likes somebody, she likes them, but wouldn’t normally go head-first in. Everything seems to be fast-tracked.
“The thing with Alex has been an interesting twist and not necessarily what she would normally be like.
“I presume being in a pressurised environment means the reality is different. She is normally really private. I think it must be quite choreographed and I know they are directed, so what you see is not always the reality.”
However, Sarah insisted she is still very proud of Montana and has every faith she will stay true to who she is.
She concluded: “She knows who she is. I have absolute faith in her. I love her and I like her as a person.”
Love Island continues tonight (Thursday) at 9pm on ITV2.
