Marnie Simpson admits Lewis Bloor would “go missing for days at a time” during relationship
Geordie Shore‘s Marnie Simpson has confessed she never really trusted ex-boyfriend Lewis Bloor and that he would “often go missing for days at a time” during their relationship.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Marnie revealed the former TOWIE star would often disappear for days at a time while they were together.
She said: “From day one I had a gut feeling I couldn’t trust him.
“Lewis would often go missing for days at a time and despite that I didn’t cheat.”
Marnie continued to insist she doesn’t feel any guilt for flirting with Aaron Chalmers on the MTV series while dating Lewis, considering Lewis’ behaviour at the time.
“Aaron is my ex-boyfriend so there was unfinished business but I don’t think I did anything wrong, especially compared to what Lewis was doing at the time.
“There was a bit of harmless flirting but that was it.”
The reality star also reckons the two would not have entered a romance at all if they hadn’t appeared on Celebrity Big Brother together last year.
Marnie explained: “Lewis is the only relationship I really regret. If I had my time again, I would stay well away.
“I don’t think I would have ever got with Lewis if we weren’t trapped together in the Celebrity Big Brother house together for a month.”
She added: “I actually met him a year before and I didn’t look at him in that way.”
Lewis and Marnie’s relationship came to an end this April after cheating allegations emerged. Going into further detail about her ex’s infidelity, Marnie said: “He cheated on me because he was jealous and didn’t know how to handle it. Every boy has different ways of dealing with things but his way was completely f***ed up.
“I wish Lewis all the best and I hope he finds happiness, but there’s no reason for us to ever speak again.”
Geordie Shore returns this summer on MTV.
