Was Kim Woodburn’s row with Phillip Schofield fake?
Presenter Holly Willoughby has hinted that the Kim Woodburn rant on This Morning may have been put on for the cameras.
On Monday, the Celebrity Big Brother housemate made headlines after telling host Phillip Schofield she would “crucify” him on This Morning.
When the presenter pulled Kim up on her behaviour, she snapped: “I’m employed by Channel 5. I said to Channel 5 if you put me in there, I never look for trouble. I do not look for trouble, Phil. If you bring it to me, I’ll crucify you.
However, Holly has now implied that Kim could have been faking her reaction on the show.
Holly told the Daily Star: “Afterwards Kim was fine. She leant across and said: ‘I do like you Phil, I do like you’.
“Then she said ‘it’s all good telly’ and I thought ‘maybe she is just being very clever’.”
Holly had revealed before the infamous interview that she had not seen Kim in the CBB house, and so was shocked by her fiery tongue.
She explained: “I hadn’t seen she had the potential to go. And then I saw the VT when we went into it and thought ‘oh god’ but I did not expect that to happen and for it to happen on the sofa, because essentially that happened in six minutes.
“I was a bit scared. I could see her getting bigger and more upset and it was bubbling and growing and she was getting a bit cross.
“Phil didn’t say anything he wouldn’t have said to anyone else. To be honest and I don’t really know what happened.”
This Morning continues weekdays at 10:30am on ITV.
