Chloe Sims refuses to film TOWIE with Pete Wicks: “I’ve taken myself out of the situation”
The Only Way Is Essex‘s Chloe Sims does not wish to film scenes with co-star Pete Wicks any longer, following tensions with Megan McKenna.
TOWIE favourite Chloe has asked ITVBe bosses if she can keep her scenes with Pete to the minimum while he is attempting to move on from his split from Megan. The star has revealed she wishes to remove herself from the drama after being attacked online for getting involved in their explosive relationship.
Writing in her column for Star magazine, Chloe admitted she is concerned her 10-year-old daughter Madison will start to pick up on the insults: “I’ve taken myself out of the situation with Megan and Pete and have stopped filming with them.
“I’m getting trolled and abused online and I don’t want kids in Maddie’s school seeing what they’re writing about her mum. People are getting really personal about my looks and as a mother – and it’s not just youngsters, believe it or not!
“I’ve now turned off the comments on Instagram so people can’t be cruel anymore. It’s mentally draining.”
However, this doesn’t mean we’ll see less of Chloe on the show, as she has still been “busy” shooting scenes with her good friends Bobby Norris and Gemma Collins.
The celeb also recently had a night out with Love Island‘s Nathan Massey, although she didn’t get a chance to ask him about his own break-up.
She explained: “I’ve been really busy filming TOWIE but I managed to have a night out at Sugar Hut last week. I bumped into Nathan Massey but I didn’t get the chance to ask him about his split with Cara De La
Hoyde. It was fun but OMG I paid for it the next day – I had the hangover from hell!”
The Only Way Is Essex continues Sunday at 10pm on ITVBe.
