5 TV characters we’d love to party with on New Year’s Eve!
Can you believe that 2016 is nearly done and dusted? Frankly, it can’t come fast enough, and even if this has been the year where everything has gone to the dogs – we’ll be damned if we don’t celebrate the end in style!
Whether your plans involve copious amounts of champagne and dancing on tables, or a quiet night in with Netflix and beer – here are five TV characters we’d love to celebrate the end of the year alongside!
1. Barney Stinson
Is there any TV character we’d rather celebrate New Year’s with than the King of New Year’s himself, How I Me Your Mother‘s Barney Stinson? This is the guy who is so totally awesome he makes plans for himself and his friends to attend a whopping five parties on New Year’s Eve – just to make sure they’re at the best one when the fireworks go off. Of course, it didn’t go exactly to plan, but one thing for sure is Barney knows how to have a good time.
Futurama‘s Bender literally needs alcohol to properly function, and so thus would be the perfect New Year’s Eve companion! Yes, admittedly his gambling, womanising and stealing might not make for the best evening if you’re not into those things, but hey, robot party partner!
Excitement and danger follow Archer around, so he’d make an entertaining New Year’s Companion to say the least! Of course, there’s the possibility he might kill you. If he doesn’t, you’ve still got to deal with his extreme narcissism and enormous ego. It might be worth it though, for a night of booze and extreme danger.
4. The Inbetweeners
Not technically a single TV character, but we’ll let it go. For an evening that would be totally and undeniably lame and disgusting, The Inbetweeners‘ Will, Simon, Jay and Neil are your go-to guys. However, partying with the Pussy Patrol might also be unbelievably hilarious, so the jury’s out.
If you want a night out with the girls, The Big Bang Theory‘s Penny knows what she’s doing! Best of all, she’s both great at partying the old fashioned way and also (sort of) open to spending the evening dressed as Wonder Woman at a Comic Book store!
